Norm McDonald would be good. i'd love to see that.
I don't understand how someone who (possibly?) thinks Fallon isn't good for the job recommends probably the one person in SNL history that was less funny, and has done basically nothing in the last five years or so.

To each his own, but AC is a hundred miles past NM.

And my guess is Jerry wants to keep it that way. Why risk stepping off the pinnacle of primetime TV comedy for a late night show? And people are still clamoring for the Seinfeld seasons on DVD (and will even more now on BD), more than a decade after the show laughed its last. He can do the odd Vegas gig or short major city tour every now and then, and be fine for the rest of his life.

because he's such a trainwreck that it might be funny on that basis alone. did you see him on the roast of bob saget? he was actually really funny.

Norm is miles ahead in the funny department compared to Fallon. I do like Fallon however, and hope his show succeeds. The Roots are awesome, the drummer kicks ass. Slow Jams News was a good bit.

Week in review was awesome when Fallon/Fey hosted it. Hopefully he can transfer some of that magic to his show.

I'd rather watch Lifetime 24/7. Television for idiots.

If you only saw Norm, or Bob Saget for that matter, on braodcast TV you really don't know much about their sense of humor. Both have really warped and dirty minds and come up with the most jokes that make you say "Now thats just WRONG!" but bust a gut laughing.

I give Norm the edge though because he is more angry and would probably just argue with everybody.

I love this old Conan clip....

Dirty Work bests Jimmy Fallon's entire body of work single handedly..

You fellas have a lot of growing up to do, I'll tell you that. Ridiculous. Completely ridiculous. Can you believe these characters? Way out of line. Way out of line. Have a good mind to go to the warden about this. You know what hurts the most is the... the lack of respect. You know? That's what hurts the most. Except for the... Except for the other thing. That hurts the most. But the lack of respect hurts the second most.
