Default Leadership books

I'm thinking about applying to Grad school to get an MBA. I figure that if i get some leadership books, they may help me get in the right mindset for writing the statements of intent of which some school look for people with leadership potential.

So what are some good authors and books on leadership??

Even if I don't apply or go to Grad school, reading up on some leadership couldn't hurt.

Not without a bit of Irony, Mein Kampf actually. not that I suggest taking his example...

Otherwise, and seriously, I believe you could read books that chronicle the lives of great presidents. (whoever you believe to be great). Also, businessmen/CEO's who are biographed(?) would be a good place to look.

what about John C. Maxwell. I don't know anything about the guy. My friend had one of his books and his audio cd. He said that John C maxwell was pretty good.
