it's not a handout... it's an INVESTMENT. other countries pay for their citizen's higher education and their HEALTHCARE. don't even get me started on universal healthcare. we're the only industrialized nation that has that attitude towards their people. government should be a SERVICE for the people... not the other way around. this country would be a much better place if our pres. could pull his head out of his ass and start focusing on domestic issues and stop spending money we don't have on wars we can't win.

with that said... i can't stand republicans and their backwards logic. GAH! and Sprint PCS. a word to the wise: if you ever decide to get a new cell phone service, do not, i repeat DO NOT get Sprint. they're a bunch of crooks. my cell phone plan gives me 700 min. and i've NEVER gone over my mins., on avarage i use about 400-500 min./mo. and i've never ONCE paid less than $75 on my cell phone bill. why? I DON'T KNOW WHY! they're frick'n bogus, but i just keep paying because i signed that damn 2 yr. contract and i don't want to pay the severence fee and go through the hassle of finding a new cell phone carrier and buying a new phone. GRR! curse sprint and curse republicans!
