If he gets 30mpg, thats over $30 a day on gas. It would be cheaper to stay in a motel.

7 hours on the road, 8.5 at work, 6 hours sleep. That leaves 2.5 hours each day to eat, shower, and spend quality time with the family.

Someone needs to tell him to get a life.

Is he getting reimbursed for his traveling? If so, that can add up to be a nice chunk of change...especially if you drive a pos beater that you don't give a chit about. Even so, I must agree...the guy is a geek. His family in his ranch? Probably he's talking about his parents .

I commuted 3 hrs each day that and that drove me crazy!!! I did it for 1 yrs and I ended moving near my job

If I was him, I would stay M-F near his job and go back home on fri afternoon!

i dunno, if i had a big ass ranch i'd do the same.(not).. i drive about 86 miles every day (2way)...the drive aint that bad if u drive fast and leave at 6am

My only defense of this guy is that Mariposa is nice. Just plain gorgeous. . . but otherwise, he's crazier than a loon.
