It will only be listed on your insurance as an incident not at fault which means you won't get any points for it. I've been hit before and it was listed on my insurance, but I never had to pay a cent because it wasn't my fault.

 

It was scary, but was over pretty quickly. I was lucky that no one hit me when I went down. It was in a construction zone, with only two of three lanes opened. I landed face down (though I don't remember that part) destroying the face of my helmet, but leaving MY face unscathed. I had some road rash but no broken bones. I've suffered neck pains occasionally ever since, though X-rays revealed nothing. Thank goodness for leather gloves and my Levi's jacket. I now wear a leather jacket, boots and gloves ANY time I ride, and full leathers when I "blitz the mountain." I still love to ride. "You have to get right back on the horse!"

i was parking my car today and for some STUPID reason, i wasn't looking back... i was mindlessly staring the front of the car while i was backing up-

of course, i hit the wall... i was in tears, but, it wasn't as bad as what i heard.

thankfully, i hit only the bumper, which is plastic... not a single scratch...



so, look behind you when you backup. really.
