well years ago i ran a tc3 full race prepared carbon , aluminium parts os engine... well now i want to join the hobby again and participate in the circuit races.... i am going mid budget because s2k isnt cheap and i dont want to spend tommuch money , i have like 500 $ for building my race team ... i want a used tc3 but i can find it here in panama , but i friend is selling me a nitro 4 tec traxas , so i want to know if the rc is reliable , take corners right , easy to repair , manteinence , the engine life... all the rc new is like 500$ but my friends ride is like 250.... should i buy it or not.

 

Try and get a used serpent... Those will rip TC3 a new one I used to have a serpent 960 I think it was... Expensive but its on rails whole different ball game

but i dont care wining because i dont have the budget and the time i just want to participate and mechanic the car for hobbie... i like tc3 because is the only car that i haved twice and is cheap to mantain.

 

have you ever checked out rcuniverse.com lots of used stuff for good prices

 

also if your interested my local hobby guy has serpent impulse for 200... It comes with motor and exhaust. You need servos rec and remote... If your interested im sure he would ship it.

 

Do not purchase a Nitro 4 Tec if you intend to race.
