Pathetic little soldiers...What can you do when the mastermind behind the U.S. army is to recruit unfortunate, poverty stricken high school dropouts that scores in terms of ignorance are off the charts? It's perfect! Give these low lifes, wastes of society, a machine gun, empty promises and brainwashed them and you got the perfect soldier. An individual without a brain ready to die but not knowing for what. This is the reason that poverty exists at such a high level in the U.S. It's MEANT to be like that...what other sane person with an education would fight a war based on lies and lay there life for the Corporate few? Maybe some of you hadn't noticed, but those guys in the vid weren't cops, they were soldiers, so it is kind of unrealistic to expect them to handle the situation in the best way possible. IMHO, they should have shot the looters. You don't hang horse thieves for stealing horses, you hang them so others don't steal horses.

 

I'm not even going to bother moving this to the Politics forum. Some of you, s2kmiami in particular, need to learn how to conduct civilized discussions. I don't care how angry you are about an issue, when all you can do is spout insults and racist bullshit, it's time for you to go.

To the more rational posters in this thread, I'll just say this: keep in mind that this video is from the time right after Saddam was toppled, when looting and mass chaos were everywhere. People were stealing from hospitals, offices, homes, and even hazardous waste dumps for chrissakes. The guy in that video is lucky they didn't just shoot him.
