Default Lord of the Rings - Fellowship of the Ring

This is the first movie where I will look forward to seeing it again. I never read the book but I am intrigued to read it now to see what happens in Part II and Part III. The only bummer to the movie for me was that I have to wait a full year before Part II is released. There were people whom were dressed like characters in the movie. It is an excellent film and if you do not have a taste for a film that will entrench you in its magnificent scenery and story line that makes you feel like you are experiencing everything on the film yourself then you will not like this movie.

Tan

Can you tell I like the film?

About how I felt while reading the book. Wonderful experience that at times would cause hours to pass without realizing, since my mind was in the other world, be it Mordor, Mines of Moria, etc.

"I do not come for battle but for parlay." (probably less than accurate quotation): Gandalf, The Two Towers.

It is so worth the price of admission and if you get in on a student car than it is a steal. The movie is three hours long.

Yeah, I still have my Devry Student ID. I don't use it always only if I am paying for the whole group. Why are you guys catching the late show at 9:30 pm. The 8 pm is better because the reel is in better quality. I saw the 9:30 show and it had sound hic ups and color saturation in the reel. Somebody got their fingerprints in the film as it was running. It was poor quality at times. Just thought I let you guys know. Sorry I can not see it four times. I plan on seeing it again with my girlfriend when she comes in on Christmas and we are going to San Diego near Horton Plaza.

AOL Time Warner which owns and operates New Line Cinema seems to have a string of hits coming there way. Harry Potter was first, Lord of the Rings, The Matrix 2, Blade 2, Queen of the Damned, Charlie's Angels 2, Ocean's 11, Minority Report -Steven Speildberg/Tom Cruise. It's great to work for a company that seems to be doing fine in this recession.
