Century 25 in Anaheim is a great place to see this movie. All stadium seating and large ass screens and the only all Ultra THX certified sound set up in every screen room. Ultra is the new 7.1 where there is a rear center surround sound channel is utilized. Epic movie with epic sound.

Prolene,

They are not; can not organize well enough at such a short period. They are meeting at Deidrich's coffee in Irvine at Barranca and caravaning it to Anaheim from there. Let's hope that there is not a line for the time slot. Hopefully they fixed the CD sync with the reel in stadium 25 for the 9:30 show so that they can truly enjoy the film.

I noticed that the previews running in each stadium is different as well. I saw the new Spiderman trailer in stadium 25 but it was not in stadium 14.

I've heard nothing but VERY positive reviews from friends that have seen it already. Can't wait to see it this weekend. By the end of it all, I'm sure I'll see it a couple of times in the theaters. I'm also quite curious how opening weekend will go (v. Harry Pooper)...

They had some sound problems at the last movie we saw there...but fortunately it was only in the first preview.

We couldn't organize quick enough for the 8PM showing, besides, hopefully the 9:30 showing will be less crowded. If any of you guys change your mind, just drop by for the 9:30 showing and try to find the big group of people

It was GOOD! Everything looked like how I imagined it while reading the book. You were right, there were sound hiccups and the image faded a bit at certain points. They had problems during the previews in Theater 25, but otherwise, the story was intact.

I never read the books though, would it have helped with background on this movie?
