Is making a custom shed difficult?

Default Is making a custom shed difficult?

I have a storage need, and the stuff Rubbermaid makes are not only expensive, they're small. Other sheds are way too large. Has anyone ever made a custom shed themselves? I'm thinking of doing it myself but hesitant about what to do. I'm fairly handy - doing my own minor plumbing work like replacing the toilet, and some other minor house work. Any suggestions?

not sure what your neighborhood is like, but ours has covenants against sheds.... of course once one person got one up the neigherhood gave in and now those ugly ass things are everywhere.

if you make one, you'll want to put a nice shingled roof and some siding on it, and i assume a concrete base? at that point you can install a bathroom, bed and satelite dish.

Our immediate neighbor half ass built his own out of plywood with some tar paper on the roof...... luckily he moved and I helped the new owner tear it down..........
