my friends and i all concur that it's hard to make good friends after college. any helpful advice?

Join some some type of casual/social club. S2ki for example.

Yes, it's impossible to find friends that count...YMMV. But then again, friends are overrated.

difficult to make friends at work unless neither of you are in a position to become each other's supervisors. best to make friends from another division/office. someone will always want to stab you in the back while climbing that corporate ladder, and some would even do it while being "friends" with you.

it's only when you get stabbed once or twice will you learn...

It is harder to make friends after college. The people I hang out with now are my girlfriend (met her during college), a buddy from college, coworkers, and people from local car clubs/forums. I did the club/party scene for a while but I got really sick of the quality of people I was encountering.
