most of the friends we have are either old friends, or people from work. You think its hard single, try married with kids. Even the friends we have its hard because of conflicting schedules.

Yeah those social leagues are awesome for meeting different people from different professional backgrounds and places your might not come across if you're only fishing around your office.

We don't even have a beach around, there are just beach-style (sand covered) courts around one of the local rec centers. If you get into a league in the thick of the summer, there happens to be some nice eye-candy on the courts as well. A nice bonus
