Tim Horton's franchise. Not sure if they allow mall set ups, but they do allow satelite kiosk set up in hospitals.

There is a Starbucks right next to this empty spot. Starbucks brings in over $500k according to the leasing guy......

I need to find something different than what everyone else is offering and soft serve icecream and "smoothies" are not allowed due to the DQ deal....

from tim horton's website
Franchising Program
The initial investment required for a Tim Hortons franchise will vary, depending on your particular needs and choices. If the complete franchise package for a standard store is purchased through Tim Hortons and if the franchisee leases the premises from Tim Hortons, the total initial investment will typically vary between approximately $409,200 and $665,700. Please see additional information below and under FAQs regarding initial investment and non-borrowed capital needed.

[QUOTE=HondaGal,Jan 18 2010, 04:55 PM] Tim Horton's franchise.

Be prepared to shell out 7K-10K a month for rent in a mall and the rent goes up October, November and December.

Other than that, good luck

Mall rent is outrageous plus there is Common Area Maintenance. Someone has to pay to AC all that space.

At a local mall the CAM fee was $15 a sq. foot. Then you had rent on top of that.

The big boxes get huge discounts and it leaves the small guys paying the bills.

That's why you don't find cheap drinks or anything else at a mall.
