Probably the most pathetic excuse for a class action lawsuit i've ever seen, but there's a chance that they'll get something out of it. Remember the person who got X million dollars after spilling hot coffee on thier lap from McD's? (edit: looks like somebody beat me to that one... see above)

This is why people hate lawyers....

...and stupid people.

How can you go to Wendy's and eat a classic double with cheese and think it's not bad for you?

I guess fatass just needed a way to pay for all of his medical bills....

Yea, sure...just like that case where the woman sued McD's because she burned herself trying to drink hot coffee while driving. She won and is now another idiot millionaire.
I've heard this story so many times I finally took the time to do some research: Check out lawandhelp.com/q298-2.htm the interesting point is that McDs coffee is kept hotter than most other restaurants and that McD had ignored the lady's request to cover her medical bills.

The woman involved in this infamous case suffered very serious injuries - third degree burns on her groin, thighs and buttocks that required skin grafts and a seven-day hospital stay.

and

On appeal, a judge lowered the award to $480,000, a fact not widely publicized in the media.

And yes I realize that that site belongs to a legal firm. And I too feel that if I commit a dumbass action I alone am responsible for the consequences.

I notice they are very careful not to disclose the circumstances of the spill or any other evidence that would disparage their claim of a justified suit. That puts their "facts" in question, at least in my mind.
