Where are you located?

Yudin's in Wycoff, NJ is an excellent brick and motar store who service NY Metro. I don't know how far they deliver and if they do 'traditional' mail order

Their web-site is nothing more than a phone listing ( http://yudins.homeappliances.com/hadealer/....do?STORE=Main). I would give them a call.

My brother-in-law remodeled his summer house on eastern LI. Yudin's had the lowest prices, no tax (due to crossing the state-line) and only charged $50 delivery for a house 75+ miles from the store. He did Viking, Miele, Sub-Zero...

5 years ago, many suppliers would have laughed at you, as there was a 6 to 9 month wait for anything viking, even for those willing to pay msrp. However, that was then, this is now so there may be some places out there willing to deal. I fell into mine, a custom builder had ordered it for a customer who then bailed on him. He had a deposit from them so he knocked off some $$ for me.

However, strong word of caution. The performance of both my range and my fridge has been piss-poor. The only thing that works well is the cooktop, throws off great heat that can easily be controlled. The ovens are horrible, very uneven heating despite convection. Set them at 350 and one day they are 475 and the next they are 300. The frigde had the compressor blow after a year, the second year the seals in the freezer door failed, most of the door shelves in the freezer have broken. We are on a first-name basis with the service people. If I had it all to do over, at a minimum I'd think about a dual-fuel range or seperate cooktop and electric wall ovens. More likely, I'd consider some alternative brands, such as Kitchenaid and GE. Just my $0.02.
