Casual. Never been a fan of being too emo.

Just asked my wife, "So how about getting married?"

I took a picture of the ring with my digital camera... and one night we were out to dinner.. and decided to look at the pics from a previous trip we took. She looked at the pics on the camera and saw the ring.. and thats how i proposed.

Simple... yet surprising... everyone at the rest. started clapping and stuff... kinda wierd and embarassing.. but i didnt care.

BALLIN!

That's great!

My now-hubby and I had talked about getting married, so I knew he was going to propose at some point. I always thought it was unfair that the girl gets a ring and the guy gets nothing, so when the Nikon D80 came out, I bought it for him. About a month later we went out with friends on the premise that we were going to take pictures and learn to use the camera better. I was standing by the falls (sentimental for us) taking a picture and next thing you know...

Our friends took a bazillion pictures - it was really cool to have that moment captured that way!

I just recently took my girlfriend to The L.A. Arboretum for fun and popped the question in front of their waterfall. It was romantic and private and went perfectly!

My friend proposed on the ice at a San Jose Sharks game a few weeks ago. Then he ran across the ice and slid on his knees like he scored a freaking goal. Hilarious. He paid mega bucks to do it though.
