Thumbs up MBA programs...

Question about transferring MBA schools...

I live on Long Island, NY, and I will probably start my part-time MBA at Hofstra University in the Spring of 2009. However, I want to apply to another school in Manhattan for the Fall of 2009. If I get into that school, would I be allowed to transfer like people do for undergrad schools? Or do MBA schools usually not allow transfers? I might not get into this school which is why I will probably start in the Spring at Hofstra, so I would not have lost any time, if I were to get declined admission.

Thanks.

I don't think Stern or Columbia take transfer credits for their MBA programs.

I have been trying to look, but can't find any definitive answers for the full-time programs.

Yeah transfer credits for MBAs are nearly nonexistant. Its a short program to begin with and schools want their full $$$$$

Yea, it wasn't so much that I would want to transfer credits, but I just wanted to see if the school that I wanted to transfer to prohibited changing schools if I was already in an MBA program at another school.
