I would suggest, an exfolient face wash + oil free moisturizer if you can't use accutane. Accutane is pretty nasty stuff.

Hell, I am 27 and I still get them ... specially if I work out a lot (WTF??). You seen those "Pro-active" commercials?? Well, they DO work (the product that is). I usually buy it once a year or every other year. I make it last and it is very much worth it.

Also, Mary Kay has this "Skin Management"...blemish control formula that works just as well...it is better yet than Proactive because you can use it 3 times a day and it will NOT dry out your skin. I could only use the Proactive 1 or 2 per day...a little to harsh.

Hope that helps....now that part about thinking of naked chicks and fast cars....WHY in the hell would you want that to stop??????

Do you think Accutane damages more than just the liver?
I used it a few years ago (zits came back straight after I got off them - although they aren't as bad now) and my stomach has never been the same since.

Unexplainable diarrhoea (sp?) after only a few glasses of alcohol - also I can't drink myself silly anymore. Alcohol tolerance just dropped! I will feel SMASHED after a bottle of wine now.

What kind of side effects have you guys had with it?

Hey, I'm almost 31 and still fighting them. I've tried everything. I have taken 2 to 3 showers every day since I was 12 to keep the oil off my skin but still getting worked by the acne. Granted, it is not as bad as when I was 16 but still there.

Genetics plays a large part of it. My father had tremendous acne and I guess I was lucky enough to inherit that great trait.
