Yea they are trying to sue him Mike Rowe some 17 year high school kid. He thought it would be funny to add "Soft" Microsoft informed him that he was committing copyright infringement sending him 25 page letter accusing him of trying to force them into giving him a large settlement. And this kid wrote back asking to be compensated for giving up his name. Microsoft lawyers offered him $10 then he asked for $10,000.

are the courts going to uphold any lawsuit that involves any rough derivitive or sound-a-like to any large corporate name address on the web? sheesh.. leave the kid alone.. what's he gonna do... cause them 100k in damages? please. MS is just being petty. can I register MikeRoesoft.com ? msoft.com? MyCrosoft.com? sheesh

I would place the burden of proof on the company here... protect the small people....
