Mind the Gap
I tend to agree with the comments from Flyingpig. The only other car I would consider "stepping" up to would be the last gen F355. Other then that, how much more am I gonna get for my money? Probably not much
I've been having this debate with myself lately too. I decided the minimum car that would make me trade out of the Stook would be a 911 Cabriolet.
My rules being: 1)it has to go like stink 2) New, who knows what the previous owner did, and 3) it has to be a drop top.
A 911 Cabrio is 80K+ once you throw on some decent options. Big jump up from a Stook in price. Think I'll be keeping the Stook for quite awhile unless something new hits the streets.

The M3/5 as performance coupe or sedan is fab but that wasn't really the question. I'm looking for sports cars at or about the $70K range. I see that the base 911 is about it.
