As for F1... yay, let's go fast, never pass anyone, and call it racing!

I've seen one Nascar race live, and until you see it I don't think one can really make a educated comment about it. I have also seen one Drifting event.
Nascar is fun to watch LIVE. I can't tell you what to watch but I can say if you get a chance go do it. Its not that expensive and during the race you can easily make your way down to the fence to watch 30 cars go by at 180+ mph.
With drifting your 50+ feet away and watching one guy try and lose the other guy. I can see how its fun in some of your minds but that just seems like excess. I don't care for excess.

I have not been to or participated in Drifting, however I have raced at the Richard Petty Driving School at Charlotte, those cars are amazing, the pure brute force they produce would take a fighter jet to equal. After 12 laps on 24 degree banking averaging 145mph my arms felt like rubber bands.
Personally watching nascar on tv is quite boring, but being at the race is a hell of a lot of fun.

You're clueless.
1. The original post contained nothing with regards to viewing, or participating.
2. Racing may be the ultimate expression of style & personality for you, but then you'd have a pretty sad personality since the ultimate racing machine would be a computer, and one day will be.
Since you're fond of the terms "lame" and "gay", I think it's pretty lame and gay that people like you get to breathe my air.

if you are drifting while racing then hooray for you. but drifting to see who gets the most points is ****ing retarded. period.
and i think it was pretty clear that the reason of this thread was to talk about drifting and nascar as a spectator sport, not us actually going out and drifting or driving a ****ing nascar for that matter.
i have gone along with somefriends while they were drifting and it was kind of fun. i would never watch it though. it ****ing boring. with racing there is suspense and what not.
