Gee, you think you could find a Z28 to beat that type R? There are street legal 11 sec Detroit rides out there. Hell, the 2002 Z06 looks like it could run in the 12s.

Japan builds great cars I own one. Talk to me when Japan builds a Nimitz class aircraft carrier, or a Seawolf class sub or a B-2 bomber, or sends men to the moon, or discovers DNA or blows away the rest in Nobel Prizes in Science. All the companies in Japan can't match the engineering progress (Walter) Kelly Johnson made at the Lockheed Skunkworks.

When the first human feet touch the surface of Mars, you can bet they will be American. Japan will still be a country that builds very nice television sets.

Man, can we cool this? Japan kicks ass and the U.S. kicks ass. What's the deal with this rivalry? Why do we keep going back and forth our countries kicking ass? I guess I'll just join 'em: Lithuania doesn't kick much ass.

(and that was the last anyone ever heard from fluxen, who was taken out that night by some ass-kicking Lituanian asassins)

ElTianti - I'm an American and very proud of it, but there's a time and a place for it, and this ain't either of those. I'm not sure what you hope to gain by contunually waving the American flag in people's faces. All this does is to propogate the "ugly American" stereotype.

Thanks to him, I have a much better understanding of American thinking...

One thing I love about Japan...

They brought me the Iron Chef!!
I love that show...

Oh and ElTianti, by your actions you are giving us Americans a bad name. You show ignorance and an obvious disregard to any and every culture. I too am a proud American, but I do not go around shoving my American pride into other peoples faces. Unless you are a Native American, you are in the same boat as the rest of us "Americans," we came from some other country and that fact makes America what it is today. Do not go around acting like you are all high and mighty just because you live on this side of the Atlantic. I know 10 year old Taiwanese kids that have more sense in their little finger than you do in your entire head. Cool it ok, you are making a mockery out of America.

Also, a tid bit of history incase you were asleep when they taught this.. Japan is able to make military weapons, but however, are bound by an agreement with the US that they are not allowed to. There is a big difference between not allowed to and can't.
