I walked out on a team of 10 for a job as soon as they told me 70 hours per week would be normal. I got up and said "I can't believe i took a shower for this" (in a joking way).... they all whispered to each other... blaaa

but a bigger square wont go into a smaller square can it?? wat, if the edges r lipped and all
No it wouldn't! only if the square lip was the same size and the cover didn't have any width! I understand the concept. that the length of the square is the length of an equalateral triangle but if the second square is the same size and the lid has any reasonable width to it then it won't fit, if the second square is smaller with a lip it won't fit ever!

Mine wasn't to hard. Took me a minute to answer...
Your an LE Officer and you see a fugitive thats wanted by the US Marshals Service (for killing 2 US Marshals about an hour ago) and you go after him to apprehend him. While chasing him you end up on foot running onto and near a beach. You already know he has killed 2 officers and he is considered armed and dangerous. As you run near and under a pier you hear a girl scream that she is drowning and you give a slight glance to your right and see a woman struggling in the water to stay afloat. You have no radio on you or cell phone at this time (this is a huge what if but they asked.)
What would you do? Continue to pursue the wanted suspect that has just killed 2 US Marshals Officers or do you go and try to rescue this woman? Also, if you choose to rescue the woman in distress how would you go about doing it since you have your gun belt on (with your loaded weapon) and your armor. If you choose to continue your pursuit of the suspect how far are you willing to go and what would you do about the drowning woman that you just saw?
You have two minutes to think about both your answers.
In my head I wanted to shoot the suspect in the leg then strip down, empty my weapon into the sand, then jump in the water to save the drowning woman.
However, after reading into it I went the common sense route which was to let the fugitive go and go after the woman by leaving everything on the beach. Eject the magazine and cycle the one round in the chamber out of the weapon, throw your clothes/jacket over the gear, and go save the woman.
They said the most important thing is loss of life. You have to save and protect life at the highest priority, regardless if this fugitive has just shot and possibly killed to Police Officers. We can always go after the fugitive another day. That cant be said if the woman drowns. So saving the woman gets first priority.
