DeHaviland DH98 Mosquito
+
Fairchild A-10

I decided to go with unadulterated brutality over good looks.

The plywood, twin RR merlin powered Mosquito flew 400+ MPH with a 2000 mile range had 4x20mm cannon and 4x .303 MG in the nose, 4x250lb bombs in the belly and rocket pods under the wings.

The A10 is a nasty fire breathing monster, built for killing, blowing shit up and shrugging off whatever they throw back. Pure destruction.

My favorite jet is hands down the Mig 29 Fulcrum

But the F4 Phantom is a close second. I mean C'mon

Also, favorite prop fighter is of course the Mustang. No picture needed.

Polish PZL P11C.

Mind you, you asked "most handsome", not one I'd want to go into combat in.

All about its function and survivability to me, so give me an A-10 too. Building an airframe around a cannon is just too cool.

My all-time fav is probably the P38 Lightning because of the look.

The F22 Raptor does it for me. Fifth generation air supremacy/stealth fighter, with thrust vectoring (variable pitch turbine exhaust nozzles) for extreme maneuverability.

Most handsome prop: Ju-87, I mean look at those cannons... they shredded tank armor as if it was swiss cheese

Jet: mig-21 fishbed hands down - I wouldn't go to war in it but it sure looks awesome

For the prop I will take the Spitfire- it was just so sleek

As for jets, I don't know why, but I have always been fond of the F-111.

Variable wing geometry like the F-14 and I thought the tandem cockpit was cool.
