Even though it's not a fighter, SR71 is probably the most beautiful looking of all but I think for me it has more to do with its functionality and achievements than the sheer beauty itself.

Actually, we have a few flow measurement devices that are currently being used on the F-35 for the hydraulics.

I am also involved in the fuel system design (A VERY small portion) for the ATD-X from MHI... That jet is anticipated to be the next big thing for the USAF.... but we will see. It's all concept right now.

The Blackbird was only designed for reconnaissance.

I also liked the F-14, F-16, F-18 and F-22.
I always thought these designs were great

YF-12A carried air-to-air missiles. Three were built but they were never deployed.
