We had an owl hit our windshield while on our way to Mammoth on the 395...I got lodged between the roof and my snowboard.

I saw about 40 bowling pins scattered across traffic on the 101-N a few weeks back. Most of them had worked their way onto the shoulder, but I'd really like to know how that happened in the first place.
