Youre not a terrorist. I never said you were. However, just like most....umm....liberals, you feel bad for the enemy, rather than the good guys. Youre not thinking of the 3000 people that died, its the one TERRORIST who you want to see get a fair trial.

MY ONLY ARGUMENT ABOUT THE TRIAL IS THIS:

American citizens were on the jury, and 3 of them, (JUST 3!!!!) decided his role in 9/11 was MINIMAL AT BEST. Thats the ONLY reason why he got life. Of course, I was always under the assumption that you DIDNT need a unanimous vote for the death penalty, but apparently i am mistaken, WTF more do you want from me?

So your point is that since he was to be used in a second wave of attacks he should get a few hours of community service?

The point I quoted was that you said they did not even like the guy. Those were your words. They had the guy in the organization as a key member of a future plot. That hardly makes him irrelevant as you were asserting.

 

I am not saying he is a monster. Hell, I never even said he is a bad person nor a bad guy. He is probably a very nice guy. However, IMHO (which is all that is possible online and in this thread) I believe saying that someone who had something to do with (little or big) the innocent and bloody murder of 3000 people deserves a fair trial, is in MY eyes, siding with the wrong side.

I never said he is in support of al quaida or jihad. I dont think he is a terrorist. I dont think he even SUPPORTS terrorism. But I do think its wrong nonetheless.

your statements make it *sound* like you are sympathetic to him. I KNOW you are not. You are still an american, and cant be that naive.

I agree it was just 3 jurors who said nay. However, its the liberals work that the death penalty is such a hard thing to process, and thats all I was saying.
