You have your proof, he got life in jail instead of the death penalty.
He got life in jail because 3 of the IDK how many jurors thought that his role in the 9/11 events was going to be MINIMAL AT BEST.

They had a unanimous vote that he was part of the active conspiracy for 9/11, however his role was MINOR. So don't go off oh "liberals this liberals that blah blah boo hoo". It was 3 people, 3 American citizens, who thought there wasn't enough proof to show he was going to be a key player in this. Ok? Get off your high horses already

I don't know when we had an electoral vote on whether or not he should die or get life in prison, I guess I missed the TV ads

The guy wouldn't even put in a plea, he refused under accordance to his beliefs. You're gonna tell me that this guy would try and appeal the death penalty?!?

WTF.

You guys are all a bunch of freaks.

Yup, but then you have to retry the inmate for murder, blah blah blah...costs more money.

I really think he should be in a public square, with a stick of dynamite in his mouth. Then, have a victim of 9/11 press the button, and watch him explode.

If you want to get more "even" since they used planes, then start up a propeller plane and push him into it.

Maybe find a demolition crew and blow a building up with him inside. All these things are less than $10.00!!

Although I see what you are saying....the

"you have a right to a fair trial with a jury of your peers" applies to normal american citizens.

I do not believe he was one, thus, do not deserve a fair trial. If he was a citizen somehow, when you kill 3000 americans and blow up the worlds financial district, you are a traitor, and are obviously, no longer a citizen.

Your jury arguement doesnt hold up.

Next, well say Saddam need a jury as well.

What are you talking about? The jury was a panel of Americans, just how any other trial would go. If you're not happy with the way America's constitution runs trials, then GTFO, ok? Your pathetic attacks on liberals only furthers the judgement on republicans that you dont give a shit about the basis this country was founded on.

I have been saying this for years!!! I thought I was the only one.

I believe that all events that effect the whole country (9/11, Oklahoma, etc) should be televised on PPV so that

1)Citizens can have the satisfaction
2)Citizens' money would not go to supporting these people, but their own execution would pay for itself!

$29.99 a pop times 40 million people = A LOT of free dead people.
Great minds think alike.

Wow...who pissed in your cornflakes this morning?

You are missing my point...

The constitution states that you should get a fair jury trial by your peers if you are an american.

It doesnt have any clauses or addendums regarding international terrorists. Very easy to pass a bill that states terrorist automatically get the deathpenalty is their attack results in a loss of an American life. Liberals would put a stop to this bill in a hurry.

Why not have the jury be a panel of 9/11 victims? Who said it has to be fair?

Judging by your posts in the politics section, most of us know where you stand, and who's side you are on.

Back in the old country, they still use a rope. Very cheap to hang criminals and the
rope can be reused for others.

I never understood why go through so much trouble to put someone to death - like
electrocution, injections etc.
