Murray Grey Foundation...
Hey wanted to let yall know about this:
http://themurraygreyfoundation.org/donate.html
I don't think it's a scam, but I just donated $100, so i'm sure i'll know soon enough, haha...
If you donate $100 you can get $500 in gas or groceries, and a chance to win some lady's $280,000 house in AZ. (I'm hoping I don't win the house)
link to it on a bunch of newssites, and it seems to have been around awhile, and it's for a good cause.
Hopefully I get some free gas!

Do you have any idea DFWs2k how the $100 or $500 certificates work?
I dug around and found this www.wantacleanslate.com/donate.html (A totally different domain name but the same charity.)
How the $500 Gas/Grocery Certificate Program Works.
* You make a donation to help military families in time of need
* You receive via email within 2 weeks with your $500 certificate number and a web site and instructions to activate the certificate
* You register your certificates online and follow the simple redemption steps
* You select your favorite Gas Brand/station or Grocery Store/Chain you will be using to redeem the certificates for- Valid for every gas brand and grocery store in America.
* You then send in receipts totaling $100 or MORE of purchases for the same brand of gas or groceries from your favorite supplier you choose each month along with the monthly rebate voucher provided you at registration
* You receive a $25 Gas or Grocery Gift Card, and repeat the process until full certificate value of $500 is achieved.
So if I'm reading this right, you need to SPEND up to $100 or more at a location just go get a $25 gift card. And repeat until you accumulate $500 in gift cards.
Breaking it down, you will need to spend $2000!
So it's more like a rebate program, getting 25% back of what you spend, but after you spend it. Not $500 outright.
And to top it off... this is the reason of how to "win" a house.
Not quite a donation

Well i have to buy gas anyway, so i figure why not get something back? Plus I'm giving to charity.
Yea, i read the story about the house, don't really want to win that because of all the "strings" attached.
We'll see how it works out, and at least I gave some money to help military families
