Default Music for Driving

I have always thought of music whenever I go somewhere.

Sometimes I imagine myself in a movie and while I am driving there is music playing. There are many songs that come to my mind but one just seems to stick is Rob Zombie's Dragula. I guess I fell like its my lucky song because if any of you have played on Gran Turismo 2 that song is on there. Everytime that song is on while I'm playing on a race for some reason I win everytime.

It to me just seems like a good car or racing song. What does anyone else think, or have any of your own favorite songs?

punk, or "pop" punk. However, my all time favorite cd is Counting Crows, August and Everything After but I can only listen to that at night

New School progressive house and other types of electronic music such as acid jazz or deep dark house. The harder the beats get the harder I mash the gas.

I always keep my car well stocked with CDs. I really enjoy good, driving straight ahead rock. Anything from the Cult's Sonic Temple CD is great. Stuff like Ozzy (just picked up the latest CD at lunch) old Iron Maiden, or old Queen is great to drive to also.

Here's a good driving song that comes to top of mind...the aptly named "Fuel" by Metallica.

Depends what mood I'm in, but I've been listening to a lot of the old school stuff from the 80's that I used to dance to when I was in college.

Nothing better than 80's music. Although I get a lot of weird stares from people when I'm playing all this old stuff. My bro-in-law says it's like a time machine when he rides in the car with me
