Down the Hatch is fun, Adrian u may like the places like that....on Mulberry Street in the Village, there are tons of places that are just nuts during the summer....

As far as hotels go, I'd personally recommend the Holiday Inn Wall St. It has great weekend rates (compared to many of the nice hotels in midtown), and is a really nice hotel. Its near the South Street Seaport and is a short subway ride from midtown. . .

As far as things to do. . .

Yankee or Mets game.

Hang out/Walk around the Villiage. . .

Museum of Natural History/Planetarium, Metropolitain Museum of Art, etc.. . .

Top of Empire State Building. . .

Anyone of 50 fun night clubs (see links above). . .

Walk around Times Square, check architecture in Grand Central Station. . .

I would also contact the NYC metro crew when you go. Triax knows the BEST resturant in China town!

next time we hit up the Vietnamese places. I've got a list of 20+ joints we can go to. allz you need to do is bring an appetite.
