Lets get one thing straight, come between me and my copy of GT3 that I pre-ordered over a year ago, and you'll feel the heel of my boot!

I got my PS2 yesterday!!!!!!! No games yet, but I went to blockbuster and rented some... I am definately pre-ordering GT3 tomorrow........ I CANT WAIT... anyone got some good game recommendations? For sure I am getting Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2, and Metal Gear Solid: Sons Of Liberty, and GT3, but anyone know of any other games worth getting?
I've always liked Gauntlet ever since the original came out in the arcades, so check out Gauntlet Dark Legacy. (It was just released.) And I've heard some very good things about Red Faction (May 22nd.) NHL 2001, if you're a hockey fan. Umm, other than that, IMO there's a rather bland collection of games for the PS2...

SSX
Onimusha
F1 (racing)
are all very good. I liked Driving Emotion Type S, however, most do not. It doesn't have the greatest feel especially if you like arcade as opposed to sims. Overall, I think the PS2 still suffers from lack of big games.

Definately get SSX. I've had it since the ps2 was released and I still play once a week. I also like Onimusha. It's like Resident Evil, but set in Japan circa 1600. Both games are very well made. But, the reason I got the ps2 was GT3.
