Back when I first joined s2ki in 01, a guy on OT posted a pic of his speedo at 140 driving to Las Vegas. It could have been 140 kph, but he swore it wasn't. I thought "WTF, who are these crazy people?"

I'm not one to get all preachy about speeding. 66mph is not the same as 140, but this guy was just nuts. 50mph gusts, downed trees in the road?
And then to tell the cop he was filming his speedo? The cop may have had probable cause to watch the video anyway, but why make it that easy on him?

I've only sped when around friends, otherwise I obey traffic laws better than most people and chuckle when trucks get mad at me for going 5 mph over when they want to go 10 mph over and aggressively floor it around me.
What's up with the people filming for youtube? Where's the fun in that even? If you're looking for an audience why not go to a drag strip where there will be a lot of onlookers in the stands :\.
