as far as supplements go, nothing but alot of protein right now. i work out with a guy thats in his 50s and takes no explode.. weighs about 250lbs. hes doing just as much weight as i am and swears buy that sutff..
tried creatine in HS, never had any luck with it.

honestly guys, iv had more gains in the last year then the entire time. its been since i changed my diet. lots of beef, chicken, turkey, ham. etc.
nothign friend. damn near zero trans fat. only drink water and milk and sugar/carb free energy drinks 2-3 times a week when i lift.(not every time)
i dont drink any kind of pop, and only drink beer every now and then.
the problem is, most people only have the self control to do this for a few weeks, or a couple months at that. then they go back to old ways.

its funny at the gym, every time the new year starts. it gets PACKED. then towards the end of march/april area, its pretty close to how it was.

you know.... this kind of shit i deal with all the time...... pisses me off beyond anything.... hence why i said iv been doing it since i was 15 and when i weighed 120lbs.

ill be 22 in a week. so 7 years and 60lbs of body weight more, is what it took me to finally hit that.
thats 2 hours a day at the gym. 4-5 days a week. 175-200 grams of protein a day, minimal sugar and only good carbs.

strict diet will net you increadable gains. most people are too lazy to eat healthy and just rather TRY the gym for a few months then quit.

i took ando back when i was in high school, bought it at GNC. since the pro hormone ban a few years ago, iv been natural.

so think what you want, i could careless. but dont trash my thread because you dont have the dedication to bust your ass off for 7 years..

and and fyi, look up you tube... theirs plenty of people my age or younger and close to my size. throwing up 400-500lbs.
Word. Congrats on that weight, thats very impressive!

I'm 20 years old and I just started going to the gym again. This will be my 6th week and I've gained 10lbs and lost 1% off my body fat percentage

Just got to eat right and be dedicated at what your doing; the rest all comes naturally

That's pretty good. The most I ever benched was 315 when I was 155lbs.

When I was in Hawaii I watched a Samoan guy bench 405 4-5 times and the wheels where chiming on the bar like a chandeler. It was impressive.
me too well at 150

I sure hope you work more than just your upper body...I laugh when I see guys that cant scratch their own asses and have the skinniest chicken legs.

My max bench was 325lbs, but that was back in my mid 20's. I'm 36 now and have been ding around the 275lb mark 3-4 reps. I'm around the 900lbs mark on the leg press...I always had strong legs.

I've been seeing some Incredible gains myself in the last 5 years

At 17 years old I weighed 270lbs of PURE fat, now at 22 years old I am 172lbs and in the last few weeks have gotten serious about weight training.

Any advice you guys got? I've only gotten serious about the wights in the last few weeks, but I've maxed the bench press at 145lbs(very discouraging) can curl 25lbs about 12 times ,I can clearly see more muscle definition, but don't see it in the amount of weight i can lift...and is probably due more to the fact that I have a pretty intense cardio workout and the fat shedding off is uncovering whats always been there.

Looks like the eod x 12 weeks is working out for you? I joke i joke (or do I? ).. nice lift

Few years ago when i gave a damn about lifting heavy my max was 1 rep @ 385. That was at 22, 5'11, 185. I'm sure you'll pass that lift soon.
