I just had to have Sara, our Chocolate Lab put to sleep today, as I said in the Toronto forum, a sad day at the oldman's house. She was 11 1/2 years old.

Enjoy the time with your dog or other pets it's always too short.

Kyras, yes, my dog really did get ran over. She's just a pup, barely even a year old. She got out of the yard, went out to the busy street, and got hit by a car. It really sucks, all my good dogs die or we have to get rid of them. i cant talk about this anymore, I'm getting too sad

Evan, I hope you and your dog get to spend a lot more time together before she moves onto doggie heaven. This thread is so sad, especially when I think about losing my dog that I picked up eight years ago at the SPCA when she was just a pup. She's laying on the ground right next to me snoring right now.

Here's some pictures of my bitch.

Hoonda,

I'm so sorry your doggie got hit. This is indeed a sad thread.

Are you only 14? I see your birthday as Aug 1988. I have a son whose birthday is 8-8-88.

Hoonda,
This is a mom talking. Get your hinny ready for bed! You need a good night's sleep so you can learn in school tomorrow. If you ever need help in math try me. I volunteer tutoring in math as I'm pretty good at it and I think it's fun.

Glad to hear you are good at math. I think you can be a natural at it so it comes easily or you can be wired for other things. I try to help kids to understand that even if they may have trouble with math, they are great at something else. School is not the measure of success in life. BTW it's accelerated. You probably knew that (like my 14 year old math wizard) but when you're up late your brain starts to fade.
