Excelling kids? BTW I asked my 14 year old son how to spell accelerated and he spelled it exactly the same way as you.

My first shepherd had to be put down at 11, with cancer. My second shepherd will be three in September. I have just switched to a dogfood that has no meat by-products. They are hard to find. That means no road kill. Read labels, Did you know your dog could be eating other dogs? Sorry to be gross, but what they eat likely affects their health. Even Science Diet says meat by-products.
No I don't sell dog food. My sister is a breeder and has lectured me many times. I finally started looking at the labels. Hope my current little girl lives a long life.

So what kind of dog food do you use, Morris? Can it be bought at Pets Mart or is it some small brand that's hard to find?

Morris,

I have been through a variety of foods too. I am now feeding Nutro's Natural Choice, Lamb & Rice Formula. I has lamb meal and no meat by-products. I've tried other different foods because many seem to make my two german shepherds itch. I've been told itching could be caused by corn or meat by-products. Our first german shepherd also died from cancer. Kyras, the first one we had with our kids had a rare fatal reaction to Rimadyl. My Whiskey girl will be 10 in August, and our male, Vector, will be 4 in December. I love german shepherds!! I also love my siamese cat, Zoro.

This is precisely why I won't get a dog. Too painful.

Now a girlfriend on the other hand, is easier to dump especially if she's got attitude. Not my kind of "bitch."

I'm trying Innova to see how she likes it. Not available at my Petco. Don't know about PetMart. Petco sells a product called Natural Blend., but I haven't tried it yet.
The thing about meal is it may contain parts of the chicken (or cow) that isn't really good for yor pet, like feet, feathers etc that is ground up. One of the products above says no by-products and the other says human quality. Just read the labels closely.
