Sorry to hear your misfortune...
My dog got run over by a car when he was a pup.had two front broken legs...hes 3 years old now and when he runs kinda fast he often trips over his own legs..guess they didn't heal properly.
Peace

Dogs don't judge you, they're always there for you, and they always greet you as if you've been gone forever.
thank you all....
i feel better now about it..i feel that i did the best thing i could do..i didn't want her to feel anymore pain. last night, i had so many dreams of her, being around and running around and what not..and i woke up this morning..hoping she was gonna be there waiting for me.....
the hardest thing is realizing that i will never see her ever again.. no one will be waiting for me outside of my door when i wake up, or when i come back from skool, or to all the little things she did to make me so happy....
but i really feel that i did the best thing i could do.......that she is in a better place now. i really loved her so much. i would have gave up alot to save her..even my car...but doctor said there is slim chance that she would make a full recovery...so..
anyways, thank you all for listening to me, and being supportive..... it really means alot to me.

I feel your pain. I lost my 3 huskies in less the 3 months several years ago. They are family members no doubt. I just wacked my car against a stone wall to avoid hitting a dog that got loose. The dog was safe, and once the initial frustration wore off, i know i did the right thing. I know if my Malamute, Molson, ever got hit, i'd be an absolute wreck.
I say get yourself a new dog as soon as you feel ready to move on. Take some time to grieve, but not too long. As others have said, I'm sure you're pup would want to see you happy. Cherish those good memories and hold them close to your heart, and look forward to more great memories yet to be had.
We're with ya bro!
