Sorry to hear about your dog. People should pay attention when they drive.

People should pay attention to their dogs and keep them out of the road

You're joking right?

Save your sarcasm for another thread. Poor guy just lost his dog.

My Golden Retreiver was killed the same way. He was ran over by a car, died a few minutes later while I was carrying him back into the house. I was 15 at the time, he was 4. Goldie was chasing down this other dog that had gotten into our backyard, the other dog jumped the fence, Goldie followed, they crossed the street and a car coming around the corner hit him.

Mav,

That's one of the reasons why I put him on my ignore list a long while ago. The guy was unecessarily rude in another dog thread I posted in and for some reason has no compassion for another person's loss.

Oh well. Hopefully he'll just keep out of this thread for the sake of those that don't have him on their ignore list.

What was the reason for this post? Did you think that because it contained the word "dog" that it somehow belonged in this thread? Thank you for displaying your sensitivity.......or the lack thereof.

Although true, this statement has no place here. You could've offered a soothing word or some sympathy for your fellow S2Ki member ( since you cared "so much" that you had to post ).

i can still remember seeing my old shih tzu on the examining table at the vet when she was dying she could hardly breathe (congestive heart failure) we had her put down and eventhough it was heart wrenching it was the best thing for her since she was suffering. i cried myself to sleep for a couple nights in a row.

i want to see my dog so bad right now

good luck and i hope that as time passes and the anguish lessens you can be blessed with finding another baby that will give you the same joy and more that she brought to you.
