even more rare... Hot guy, great personality, and NOT dumber than a box of rocks.
Not so rare actually. You are just atracted to bad boys. And bad boys are dumb.

Lots of girls I know are like that. They want smart guys, but find them boring. Why? Because smart guys won't hit the bong and try to climb a light pole. That is apparently really interesting to young women. You want a professional partier, and they have burned out the cells necessary to be employable.

Why women see a guy who looks like they have not taken a shower in five days, looks like he can't get a job above drywall installer and think "He's dreamy!" is beyond most of us.

Actually it is not. I have said it a jillion times on this board. Chicks is crazy.

my boyfriend is a good looking kid, awesome personality, really easy to get along with... but not so smart. he does not know how to use punctuation. his text messages/e-mails always consist of a single run-on sentence. his spelling is embaressing. me and my room mates sit down and watch jeopardy every now and then... it's hilarious to hear some of the shit he comes up with for answers to the trivia questions.
do you think that says more about you than him?

Mind you, this is armchair psychology. . . but if he's not quite as smart, but you're smart, then are you, or are you not, maintaining some upper hand for your peace of mind? Do you think you could find that peace of mind without a partner, and then bring it (well-developed on your own) into a relationship? Could you bring that peace of mind to everyone you meet, regardless of the situation?

There's getting what you need, and getting what you want. Once you find out the former, the trick becomes finding the latter.

Answer this question, did you meet him at some sleazy bar or at Borders books?

neither.

i met him at the "street races" back when we were still in high school. fast and the furious style. i had an integra gs-r and he had this swapped civic hatchback... we raced and i smoked him 3 x's. 1st time: "i missed a gear." 2nd time: "my tires are crappy. i'm not getting enough traction." 3rd time: "okay, yeah, you smoked me. you should give me your number...." haha
