Insurance will only pay for this if you have the "Backup of Sewer or Drain" endorsement, which about 5% of people carry on their HO or Renters policies. Even then, you're going to have to meet the deductible.

Well, I'm going up to my summer home in a week, then to Miami in three weeks, then vegas at the end of september.. I'll be sure to post pics of all the dirty hoes for the guys burried elbow deep in dirty diapers.

damn, i had a similar situation but the building management is saying i have to pay for my own floors and carpet and pay the plummer even at MY COST, WTF!!!!!!!!
the flood was due to outside drains being clogged. when i say outside i mean a block away from my house in the city's drains. i didnt have homeowners insurance.
