IS MY GIRLFRIEND POSSIBLY PREGNANT ? UPDATED!
8D, well stated... If more guys thought like us, women wouldn't get crazy ideas on how to manipulate weak mean who thought they couldn't do any better.
to the original poster - I hope you learned a lesson from this even if it's just a scare. In order to be the type of person who is always in control, weigh the risks and rewards of each action in your life. What you've been doing is essentially succumbing to the risk of putting a ring on her finger, putting your life in her hands from disease, and at the very least offering a life long tie to her via a child
--- but what would I know, I'm sure you are in love and you two are different than the normal couple that has known each other for a full month... I'm sure you two are special.

They're equally responsible for the situation, yet having/keeping the child is SOLELY HER CHOICE, not yours.
Empty promises? She agreed to take her pills, and yet, she "accidentally" gets pregnant. Let's face it, the lying coach on the morality train left the station long before you pull the "Hail Mary" play.
Be a man? Once again, moot. Keeping the child is SOLELY HER CHOICE, not yours.
Pressuring? Since when was a gun put to her head? On the contrary, as soon as a girl states she's pregnant, there's a gun to YOUR head to pay out for 18 years. I'm not above lying and coercion to avoid paying out thousands upon thousands of dollars for a choice that was not mine to make.
As per adoption and/or leaving the child NQA at a hospital, the child is now there, and the two parties have now left the child poorly set up for success.
Keeping the child? I'd rather not see yet another child raised by two regretful, divorced, and unhappy parents. I taught enough of them.
For the record:
1. I personally don't jump without a parachute.
2. If she's had an abortion before, I'd want to damn well know the circumstances (in this case we don't know them). While not a deal-breaker, "accidental" (in this day and age) pregancies are a BIG red flag.

You made the point that she is the only who can make the decision. While that is true, it's also true that she is affected by the decision more than then guy is either way she decides. If she keeps the baby, then all that will happen to the guy is that he will have to pay child support. She is the one who would have to raise the kid, not be able to hang out with her friends, drop out of school etc. If she has the abortion, then she will have to deal with the emotional aspect of the decision as well as the physical pain, etc. Guys usually aren't too concerned about it. She already had one, so knows exactly what is involved, and she doesn't want to go through it again.
According to the FDA the success rate of the birth control rates is 99.9% if used correctly. That means that out of 1000 women on the pill who take it regularly, 1 will still get pregnant. She could be that .1%. When we take a look at typical effectiveness which includes perhaps forgetting to take it once, the effective rate drops to 95%. Sure there are those pshyco bitches out there who will "accidentally" get pregnant in an attempt to tie the guy down, etc but without having any more information, let's not make that assumption. Let's give her the benefit of the doubt.

I'm not a fan of children who nobody cares about, but killing them off is not the solution IMHO.
i smell an attention whore!
...seriously, it sounds like she's crying wolf because she needs attention, or because she feels like it's going to bring the two of you closer together if she scares you into thinking of the possibility of a lifelong tie. dumb bitches do it all the time.
get her one of those "early detection" pregnancy tests. they have the ones that can detect pregnancy up to five days before a missed period.
you said you started screwing her about 2-3 weeks ago and that was after she'd just finished her period. a menstrual cycle is 28 days... so she should be having her period within the next week or so. (assuming she's not lieing.) so the pregnancy test should be able to detect it.
once you find out she's not pregnant... which you will. dump her and move on to a more mature girl who won't use a pregnancy scare to get attention from you.
