Looks pretty good dude.
Hows your ball flight? Make good contact?
I've been playing off and on my whole life pretty much, my dad played on a lot of tours when I was a kid, but now we just play for fun. He pretty much shoots par.
What I keep in mind while swinging, is to keep that left arm straight, keep the grip moderate, and then turn the lower body and let the arms follow. A lot of the time I try to "swing" with my arms... and that results in irregular ball contact and flight. When I use my hips, and let the arms follow, I get much better results. And I also try to push it through with my right arm.. . causes me to hook the **** out of it.... anyway.. those are my thoughts.

Not bad, fundamentally pretty solid. Couple things though, the flying right elbow. It's gotta go. You're losing distance and consistantancy. Also, there's a bit of lateral head movement, you gotta try to cut that out. It's mostly happening because your shoulder is brushing your chin, a decent indicator your not steep enough.
Try to download some slow motion swings of tour players (the more the merrier, you don't have to stick to the big guns, every guy has tour has a top notch swing) and focus on the different positions throughout the swing. As long as you are looking at a golfer with a similar body type, you should be in a similar position.
On youtube you said you haven't been playing long? Truly, your swing looks great for a relative newb to the game. As far as making a career out of it, if your talking about playing, if you aren't playing for a top school, you probably have better odds of winning the lottery than getting on the PGA Tour. There's a lot of guys who have been playing the game for decades, top player at a good D.1 school, and they're trying to make ends meet on one of the many mini tours. Make sure its what you want before you jump in.
If you meant make a professional out if as in club pro, it can suck at times. I've been in golf almost 10 years, been an assistant professional for about 3 years of the time. I'm a level 1 apprentice in the PGA and there's days that I condsider using my degree and turning my back on the game. You work long hours, every holiday, don't play as much as you'd think or like, and you don't make much money until you hit head pro. Which can be five or six year or it can be 20. I know guys at both ends of that spectrum.
Ultimately, you figure it out pretty quickly. I left real estate in Phoenix when it was in its prime to go back to golf. Working twice as much for half the money and I've never been happier. Maybe you're the same type of weirdo.
One last thing, remember golf is a game of shots, not a game of swings. Granted, a good swing will hold up better day in day out or under pressure, but don't burn yourself out. Grinding on the range Vijay Singh style isn't worth it for the last 5% improvement. Also, as far as scoring, your full swing has very little to do with it. You will miss greens, how you fare a golfer is how often you recover from that. If you've got a great short game and can putt nothing shy of the shanks should slow you down.

thks for the comments and advice... i was referring to teaching and maybe trying some mini tours in the future
** oh and AZDELT good writeup... its good to hear someones persepective on such
i work at a top country club.... cherokee town and country club if u have ever heard of it in ga.... so i choose to be on the range so that i get to play on their short game course all day.... i dont really hit balls to much but i work about 4 or so hours a day on my short game around the green and from 80 in. Our teaching pros their pull in about 130k a year but i highly doubt this is typical of a teaching pro... one does have US open experience.
i realize the PGA is high hopes... but i love the game to death and my degree i'm currently going for is in interactive Media design (web design) so being out on the golf course just blows the other out of the water...
So i was considering getting my PAT's this spring and just seeing how things fall in place
but once again tks for taking the time to give me a detailed writeup .. and you got me with the flying elbow... i noticed that right away its just so hard for me to get myself to fix it.... i havn't taken any lessons before maybe i should find a good teaching pro to work with
