Default My mom got this email from paypal

Hi, my mom forwarded me this email that paypal sent her saying that she bought a treo and her credit card was charged $419. She never even made a paypal account with this email address, but I did make one with her old email address, but not this current one. Can anyone check it out and help me figure it out if its real? Here is the email she forwarded me:

You can't call them just like you can't call Ebay. Everything is done by e-mail or chats.

She needs to log into Paypal via the correct way, not through the links via the email/emails sent and just see if she was charged for anything. I can't really tell by your post if she was indeed charged for something and disputing it or if she is being phished.

The thing is, she never made a paypal account with that email. So she can't login since she never made a password or anything

Well if she never made an account with that email you have nothing to worry about. I used to get e-mail just like that but instead it was someone changed my pword instead of charging my account. It had links in the e-mail to click on to sign in and change your password.

My guess is the website logs your keystrokes so they can then go on a shopping spree with your account.

Looks fake, check it with paypal if your really nervous about it.
