Default My new bikes

I swore that 15 years ago when I bought my Litespeed road bike that I'd never need to buy another bike. Well this winter I caved in big time. I bought 2 new road bikes within a 6 week window total retail value of the 2 bikes is somewhere north of $10k. I figure you only live once. The Independant Fabrication is all Campagnolo Chorus and the Orbea Opal once complete will be all Shimano Dura-Ace.

I almost got a Orbea Opal too. but since I just got a new Argon 18 TT bike last year, i'll stick with my Trek road bike for a few more years =)

Good to know that Litespeed Titanium lasted 15 years

Congrats on the new purchase!

The Litespeed still looked like new but after demoing a Specialized Tarmac for 2 weeks I decided to give carbon fiber a try. Then a few weeks later a deal I couldn't pass up on an Independant Fabrication frameset came up. What recession?

Nice. Obviously the recession hasn't effected you. Is the Orbea's frame carbon fiber?

Cool a thread to brag about how much money you have.

no different than a thread saying I got a new car. In this case it's $10K bikes instead of $50K car.

10 grand for a bike? I just couldnt see my self ever doing that. To each his own I suppose.

Cool though, kicks the crap out of my $400 Trek I had a couple years ago.

Yeah, this board would be so much better if it was just full of worthless posts like yours.
