My new daily Mazda Protege5
I just recieved my new daily driver a Protege5 with 5 speed. Its a fun little car that handles remarkably well for $16k.
The redline on the tac is about 6700rpm. I wound it out in first and the limiter did not kick in to about 7500
should I be concerned?
Anyways it makes a great second car. This is my first Mazda and the fit and finish are excellent.

Charlie-
congrat's bro. I have seen quite a few of those on the road here in S. CA. they look great.
seems like a great daily driver. good room, good mpg, reliable, and fun to drive.
i had a miata before the stook and it was rock solid reliable (better unfortunately than my s2k has been). i hope the protege5 is the same for you.

The suspension is firm but not stiff. It also comes with a strut tower bar

The interior is very sporty with carbon fiber(fake) trim and colored dash pieces, a leather wrapped 3 spoke steering wheel, momo type shift knob. If you are in the market for a beatrer in that price range you have to check it out. I bought a silver one and I love the color(wanted a silver stook and the wife has a 2000 silver Accord V6)
