my open letter re:the back lot

I have nothing to do with the Back Lot, but I still don't understand why people care so much about having an unrestricted place to be offensive and view nudity.
I mean, seriously, why not just start your own forum or find one with no moderation and just move a group of people there to post those things? Would that seem too depraved? Would you feel uncomfortable if people even more depraved than you wandered into your forum? Boundaries are arbitrary, some forums are more family-friendly than others.
It's bizarre to me how people salivate over non-nudes on the Hotties forum. IT'S THE INTERNET, PEOPLE! You can find those things via GOOGLE....

In my honest opinion, this isn't honda-tech. For the most part, we have much more constructive posting and less trolls and e-thugs. I think what should be moderated is when threads go to crap/reposts/spam. Everyone has a choice on what topic they click on and participate in. As long as the title is something like "hotties" or "text a girl" and is labeled NSFW if needed it should be ok.
Now on the other hand, if we are title our topics "NUDE HOTTIES" and stuff like that, yeah those should be fixed/deleted. I think our forum has become way too strict for what it is. Others are right about other car forums allowing what I said above. I know the moderators do their best, but its becoming a little much. We aren't in middle school.
