My wife is pregnant....
welcome to the club.
fatherhood is awesome.
just read the "what to expect..." books and it will answer almost every scenario that comes up.
rub her belly with cocoa butter every night starting yesterday. she will thank you for it.
make sure she doesnt get constipated. ESPECIALLY after birth. there is prune juice in the common area for a reason.
some women get horny during pregnancy. mine didn't.
make sure she breast feeds, and make sure she reads a book on breast feeding. she will lose weight like nothing and it is way better for your baby, and cheaper. plus the breastmilk poop doesnt smell.
have her do some prep work on her nipples before hand. it is NOT easy to get the baby to latch properly. my wife was crying for weeks everytime she fed.
dont wish for early development. once they start getting mobile, it becomes a nervous nightmare.
our daughter is 9 months old yesterday, and it is absolutely amazing. yes you give up things, (like working out and the clubs) but you get so much more. and babys are great replacements for weights anyway. i havent gained a pound.
MOST IMPORTANT: take advantage of every second of when he/she is a tiny baby. it only lasts for 4 months, then they grow like crazy and are little kids. you will never get the first infant days back again. get a good video camera. we send videos to the grandparents instead of gifts.

It will be ok, we had our first kid when i was 25. Your parents raised you,
and your alive and well. I didnt like the idea either when my wife came up to me grinning, raising kids is not that hard. Just love em

I mean really, i went from being nervous to terrified. You guys are real aces!
Best of luck to you
My wife and I are making a go at it with no success so far. We are both 39 though and a specialist just told us we got a one in four chance at an actual live birth. If that does not work soon we have to look for a kid on ebay.
Consider yourself blessed and best wishes for good health.

btw, if you type in "abortion funny" on google image search, you get some funny responses....

If you want the truth, fatherhood is the greatest thing ever, if you are mentally ready. I've had to give up some things for myself, mainly due to increased time required for my children. That being said it's so worth it. My kids are amazing and I wouldn't want life without them.
