What should I bring for food for her and I? Like I said, Im not in the mood for cold sammiches... Need something different.. something off the wall.... ?

Don't try too hard - first date she's just making sure you can be around the kid without passing out, running for the exits, or being generally uncomfortable. Get past the first one and you'll have ample opportunity to go over the top.

sushi... I brought a big order of sushi once and it worked out perfect... won't get messy, easy to maintain.

Just throwing it out there... Don't get stuck in a mess that isn't yours. Friends zone years ago looks like a good opportunity to make this a 'relationship' for just about 18 years. I've seen it before.

Shes 24... so its more like 6 or 7 years out of HS... She has a nursing degree as well. She does have a level head on her shoulders other than the whole baby deal.

I do get your point though. I realize I am walking a fine line and I will be treading lightly while I'm at it... Any sign of crazy and Im out.
