Aren't you 24 then as well? Why are you messin around with a single mom?
If you were 50 and she's 24, well then it would be a different story. She needs to be shopping around for an older and much more established man and is actually probably doing that while she gets back up to social speed with former friendzone doormat and her girlfriends.
You've got many many years of attachment-free and issue-free women ahead of you, and she's gonna have to tie you down pretty tight to keep your attention on her and some other dude's kid...
If you just have to get some of that to vindicate your childhood, wear a bag, wear two bags dude. Best advice though would be to remain in the friend zone and see if she's got some hotter child free girlfriends who notice your valiant nice guy act.

Im single so... Ill explore options. It could turn out that shes so cool that I wouldnt mind the kid as baggage... thats pretty far fetched but its possible..
