Thumbs down NEED Help, Looking to Stud my Akita

Hi Everyone,
As a original member (Maybe I have a lil Cloute??), I figured I've tried everywhere else, might as well ask here.

I have an 8 yr old AKC Male Akita named Daigoro ( Die GO RoW) He is my 1st and my oldest child.

I have searched endlessly for a Female AKC Akita, But all I find are anal retentive breeders.
Well If you or anyone you know is looking to breed, and live 500 miles MAX from NE Ohio, then plz contact me. My terms are simple: Choice of Litter FEMALE and possible late litter pup, plus depending on distance, travel costs etc. (ALL negociable EXCEPT choice of Litter Female)

I desperately need a Female pup so in 3 years I can breed her to my other Male,Kijoro (Key Jo Row) who has ZERO DNA to my original, he is curently 3 yr old.

I must admit, I want Daigoro's bloodline to go on, and having his daughter to breed with Kijoro would insure this.
So I am asking any fellow S2000 for a helping hand if possible. Feel free to PM me if you can help

Thanks and Happy Holidays Marco

I love Akitas. I was a close neighbour to the top Canadian shower and breeder of Akitas when I lived back in Newfoundland. Even had an opportunity to buy one at 75% off (just so he could have one of his pups stay close), but couldn't afford it (poor student at the time).

Still, you'll have a hard time finding a show breeder that will allow your dog to sire a family. They'll want a show-quality dog, probably, and I'm guessing yours isn't. Your best bet is to find a breeder that sells pet or working Akitas and couldn't care less about perfect conformity and championship bloodlines (for show, at least).

If I can be perfectly frank, it sounds like you're the one getting way more out of the deal. What's in it for the other person? They're not going to get show-quality puppies (probably) and they're going to have to pay you for your dog and expenses, plus spend money for vet bills on the puppies and bitch. Unless they really like your dogs looks, they're not going to do that. I know I wouldn't.

Good luck, though!
